Digital transformation has become a strategic imperative for organizations seeking to remain competitive in an increasingly technology-driven business environment. However, successful digital transformation extends beyond technology adoption and requires organizational readiness across leadership, culture, workforce capabilities, infrastructure, governance, and innovation practices. Many transformation initiatives fail due to inadequate preparation, resistance to change, insufficient digital skills, and misalignment between business objectives and technological investments. This study examines the concept of organizational readiness for digital transformation and identifies critical factors influencing transformation success. Through a comprehensive review of academic literature, industry reports, and organizational case studies, the study explores readiness dimensions, implementation challenges, assessment frameworks, and strategic approaches. Findings suggest that organizations demonstrating strong leadership commitment, digital culture, employee engagement, technological preparedness, and adaptive governance are more likely to achieve successful transformation outcomes. The study concludes that organizational readiness is a foundational determinant of digital transformation success and long-term organizational sustainability.
