Peer Review Policy

The Journal of Business Management and Technology Advancement (JBMTA) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic quality, integrity, and scholarly excellence through a rigorous peer-review process.

Review Model

JBMTA follows a Single-Blind Peer Review system. Under this model:

  • Reviewers are aware of the identity of the author(s).
  • Authors do not know the identity of the reviewers.
  • Reviewer identities remain confidential throughout the review process.

This approach helps ensure an independent and objective evaluation of submitted manuscripts.

Initial Editorial Screening

Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial assessment by the Editorial Office to determine:

  • Relevance to the journal's scope.
  • Compliance with submission guidelines.
  • Academic quality and originality.
  • Ethical and publication standards.

Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's basic requirements may be rejected before peer review.

Reviewer Evaluation

Manuscripts passing the editorial screening are assigned to qualified reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject area.

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:

  • Originality and significance of the research.
  • Methodological rigor.
  • Quality of analysis and interpretation.
  • Clarity of presentation.
  • Relevance to the field.
  • Adequacy of references and supporting literature.

Review Timeline

The peer-review process generally takes 4–6 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and the complexity of the manuscript.

Review Outcomes

Based on reviewer recommendations, the Editor may make one of the following decisions:

  • Accept
  • Accept with Minor Revisions
  • Accept with Major Revisions
  • Resubmit for Further Review
  • Reject

The final publication decision rests with the Editorial Board.

Revision Process

Authors receiving revision requests should:

  • Address all reviewer comments carefully.
  • Submit a revised manuscript within the specified timeframe.
  • Provide a detailed response to reviewer observations.

Revised manuscripts may be sent for additional review if necessary.

Confidentiality

All submitted manuscripts and review reports are treated as confidential documents. Reviewers are expected to maintain confidentiality and not disclose manuscript content to third parties.

Ethical Considerations

The journal expects reviewers and editors to perform their duties fairly, objectively, and without bias. Any conflicts of interest must be disclosed immediately to the Editorial Office.

Final Decision

The Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board reserve the right to make the final decision regarding the acceptance, revision, or rejection of any manuscript based on reviewer feedback and editorial evaluation.
