Research Ethics Policy

The Journal of Business Management and Technology Advancement is committed to upholding the highest standards of research integrity and ethical publishing. The journal follows the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the Declaration of Helsinki, and other internationally recognized ethical guidelines to ensure that all published research is conducted responsibly and ethically.

Ethical Compliance

All research involving human participants, animals, biological materials, or sensitive data must be conducted in accordance with recognized ethical standards and applicable national and international regulations. Where required, authors must obtain approval from an appropriate Institutional Review Board (IRB) or Ethics Committee before commencing the study and clearly state the approval details in the manuscript.

Author Responsibilities

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their research has been conducted ethically, that informed consent has been obtained where applicable, and that all ethical approvals and permissions are accurately reported. Authors must also comply with the journal's Author Guidelines, Publication Ethics Policy, and all applicable research ethics requirements.

Editorial Assessment

The Editorial Office evaluates all submitted manuscripts for compliance with ethical standards during the editorial and peer-review process. Editors may request additional documentation, including ethics approval letters, informed consent forms, clinical trial registration details, or supporting information whenever necessary.

Editorial Rights

The journal reserves the right to reject any manuscript at any stage of the editorial or peer-review process if there is evidence of unethical conduct, including but not limited to plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, duplicate publication, image manipulation, lack of ethical approval, absence of informed consent, authorship misconduct, or any other violation of accepted research ethics.

Research Integrity

Any allegation of research misconduct will be investigated confidentially and fairly in accordance with COPE guidance. Where ethical violations are confirmed, the journal may reject the manuscript, issue corrections or retractions, notify the relevant institutions or funding agencies, and take any other appropriate action necessary to protect the integrity of the scientific record.
