Policy on Plagiarism Screening

The Journal of Business Management and Technology Advancement is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and originality in scholarly publishing. The journal follows the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to prevent plagiarism and ensure that all published research is authentic and ethically conducted.

Plagiarism Screening

All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using Turnitin before they are considered for peer review. Authors are required to submit a Turnitin Similarity Report along with their manuscript at the time of submission. The Editorial Office independently reviews the similarity report to assess the originality of the submitted work.

Editorial Assessment

The journal evaluates manuscripts for plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, excessive text overlap, and other forms of academic misconduct. Where necessary, authors may be asked to provide clarification, revise the manuscript, or submit additional supporting information. Manuscripts that fail to meet the journal's originality requirements may be rejected without further consideration.

Editorial Action

The journal reserves the right to perform additional plagiarism checks at any stage of the editorial or publication process. If plagiarism or other forms of publication misconduct are identified before or after publication, appropriate editorial action will be taken in accordance with COPE and ICMJE recommendations, including manuscript rejection, correction, or retraction where necessary.
