Generative AI Policy

The Journal of Business Management and Technology Advancement (JBMTA) acknowledges the increasing use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in academic research and scholarly writing. While AI technologies can assist authors in improving the quality and efficiency of manuscript preparation, their use must be transparent, ethical, and consistent with academic integrity standards.

Acceptable Use of AI

Authors may use Generative AI tools for:

  • Language editing and grammar improvement.
  • Improving readability and clarity of text.
  • Formatting assistance.
  • Generating ideas or outlines during the research process.

Author Responsibility

Authors remain fully responsible for:

  • The accuracy and reliability of all content submitted.
  • The originality of the manuscript.
  • Verification of facts, data, references, and citations.
  • Compliance with ethical and publication standards.

The use of AI does not transfer responsibility from the author to the AI tool.

Disclosure Requirement

If Generative AI tools have been used in the preparation of a manuscript, authors should disclose their use in an appropriate section of the manuscript, specifying the purpose for which the tool was used.

Restrictions

  • AI tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors.
  • AI-generated content must not contain plagiarism, fabricated data, false information, or inaccurate references.
  • Authors must carefully review and verify all AI-assisted content before submission.

Use by Reviewers and Editors

Reviewers and editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and should not upload confidential manuscript content to public AI platforms without authorization.

JBMTA encourages the responsible and transparent use of Generative AI while maintaining the principles of academic integrity, research ethics, and scholarly accountability.
