The Journal of Business Management and Technology Advancement is committed to promoting transparency, accountability, and integrity in authorship. The journal follows the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure that authorship accurately reflects individual contributions to the research and publication process.

Authorship Criteria

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial intellectual contributions to the conception or design of the study, data collection, analysis or interpretation, drafting or critically revising the manuscript, and approving the final version for publication. All authors must agree to be accountable for the accuracy and integrity of the work and ensure that any questions relating to the research are appropriately addressed.

Contributorship

Individuals who have contributed to the research but do not meet the criteria for authorship should be acknowledged appropriately. Contributions such as technical assistance, language editing, data collection, funding acquisition, or administrative support should be recognized in the Acknowledgements section with the individual's permission.

Changes in Authorship

Any request to add, remove, or rearrange authors after manuscript submission must be submitted in writing with the agreement of all authors and a clear explanation for the change. The Editorial Office will consider such requests in accordance with COPE guidance and may request additional documentation before approving any authorship changes.

Editorial Responsibility

The journal does not accept guest, honorary, gift, or ghost authorship. Suspected authorship disputes or misconduct will be investigated in accordance with COPE recommendations. The journal reserves the right to reject a manuscript or take appropriate post-publication action, including corrections or retractions, if authorship misconduct is identified.
