Abstract

Global supply chains have become increasingly complex, interconnected, and vulnerable to disruptions caused by pandemics, geopolitical conflicts, natural disasters, cyberattacks, and market uncertainties. The COVID-19 pandemic exposed significant weaknesses in traditional supply chain systems, emphasizing the need for resilient and adaptive supply chain strategies. Digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data Analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, Cloud Computing, and Digital Twins have emerged as critical enablers of supply chain resilience. This study investigates how digital technologies contribute to supply chain resilience by enhancing visibility, flexibility, responsiveness, and risk management capabilities. Using a comprehensive literature review and conceptual analysis, the research identifies key technological drivers, implementation challenges, and strategic implications for businesses. The findings reveal that organizations leveraging digital technologies can significantly improve disruption detection, decision-making, and recovery performance. The study proposes a Digital Supply Chain Resilience Framework and offers recommendations for organizations seeking to strengthen operational continuity and competitiveness in uncertain business environments.
