Abstract

Sustainable Supply Chain Management (SSCM) has emerged as a critical strategic approach for organizations seeking to balance economic performance, environmental responsibility, and social sustainability. Increasing global concerns regarding climate change, resource depletion, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder expectations have compelled organizations to adopt sustainable practices across their supply chains. Simultaneously, technological innovations such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, and Digital Twins are transforming supply chain operations. This study investigates the role of technology innovation in enhancing sustainable supply chain management and organizational performance. A quantitative research methodology was employed involving 350 supply chain managers, sustainability officers, and industry professionals from manufacturing, retail, logistics, and technology sectors. The findings reveal that technology innovation significantly improves supply chain transparency, resource efficiency, environmental performance, risk management, and operational sustainability. The study highlights the strategic importance of integrating emerging technologies into sustainable supply chain frameworks to achieve long-term competitiveness and resilience.
